4 Holistic Habits That Help Minimize Stress and Keep You Productive During Your Work Day

It's all about finding a balance and how you show up for work and in life will determine how your day goes. Here are my top tips to help manage your time, feel productive, and get shit done.

1. Gratitude & Meditation: Your attitude impacts your mindset, the people you work with, and yes, even your bottom line. It also dictates your creativity and focus. Upon waking take 10 minutes to write in a journal and sit in short meditation. I keep my journal right next to my bed. I write what I am grateful for, top three things I need to get done today and just sit in silence.

2. Calm Your Body with Magnesium - Most people, men and women, are magnesium deficient. The main reason is due to stress. When you’re stressed, your body responds by flushing out your magnesium stores. Taking a magnesium supplement is a holistic habit that can have a major impact on your stress and therefor your productivity. Magnesium is a calming mineral, helping you feel relaxed. When you have a jampacked day, too many emails, stress at home, a long commute, lots of travel, and all the other demands in your life, your body reacts.
