Whether your goal is to become a yoga teacher, expand your teaching skills, or simply deepen your understanding of the practice, Serenity's modular Teacher Training Program offers a flexible path to meaningful learning. Build your education one training at a time through a combination of core and specialty modules, all within a supportive community dedicated to helping you grow with confidence.
Why Modular?
Life doesn't always allow for a months-long training completed all at once—or a large upfront investment. Serenity's modular approach lets you pay as you go, making it easier to fit both your schedule and your budget.

Rather than requiring every student to follow one fixed path, our program is made up of Core Modules and Elective Modules. Take individual trainings as they're offered, build your skills over time, and, if you choose, apply qualifying modules toward Serenity's 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training.

Students pursuing Serenity's 200-Hour certification must complete all required Core and Elective Modules within two years of their first qualifying module. This flexible format allows you to progress at your own pace while ensuring all graduates complete a current and consistent curriculum.

Begin your journey one module at a time. Complete qualifying Core and Elective Modules as they're offered and work toward Serenity's 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training while enjoying the flexibility to learn and pay as you go.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to be enrolled in Serenity's 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training to take a module?
No. All Teacher Training modules may be taken independently unless otherwise noted. Whether you're earning continuing education hours, deepening your personal practice, or exploring teacher training, you're welcome to register for individual modules.

Do I have to complete the modules in a specific order?
Core Modules are designed to be taken in the order they're offered whenever possible. If you're unable to attend a required module, you can complete it the next time it's offered, provided you finish all program requirements within two years of your first qualifying module.

How long do I have to complete the 200-Hour program?
Students have two years from their first qualifying module to complete all required Core and Elective Modules for Serenity's 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training.

Can I pay as I go?
Yes! One of the benefits of Serenity's modular format is the ability to register and pay for each module individually, making teacher training more accessible and allowing you to progress at a pace that works for your schedule and budget.

Can I use modules for Yoga Alliance Continuing Education?
Eligible modules may be applied toward Yoga Alliance Continuing Education (YACEP) or Serenity's 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training requirements—but not both.

Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. Participants who successfully complete an individual module will receive a certificate of completion. Students who complete all Core and Elective requirements within the required timeframe will also receive a Serenity 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate.

What if I have to cancel?
Cancellations received at least 7 days before the start of a training are eligible for a refund of the amount paid, minus a $50 non-refundable administrative fee. Cancellations made within 7 days of the training start date are not eligible for a refund.

Serenity's Teacher Training Program is led by Billie, Owner and E-RYT 500, and Heather Rice, Studio Manager and RYT 500. Together, they bring years of teaching experience, diverse perspectives, and a shared commitment to helping students become knowledgeable, confident, and authentic yoga teachers.
